Russ's Story
Life
Before I moved from Phoenix, I had went to grade school at Murphy #1 there were some good kids there that I had grown up with one of them was Maryann Stringer and her sisters and brothers Art and Tommy. They had also moved to Kingman AZ. Where Art and his Dad were in a bad fire. Art passed away due to the fire but he had saved lives with what he was doing His Dad was injured badly in the fire for the fire dept. that they worked for the Kingman fire Dept that was just about wiped out due to the fire. d we had a ball in them. I hope that she remembers the music teacher that we had and how he taught. Moving to Nebr. in 1967 I had a big adjustment to make going to a Jr. high school for 1 year then went on to high school.
After high school I went to CCC for heavy equipment. I also drove a bus for 5 years for central Cath. High.
I worked for the county for about5 years at Hall County Park . and then went to work for the City of Grand Island till 1995 where I hurt my back and had to retire due to the injury. I got Married in 1979, and have 2 boys ages 15 and 8. and have been married for 31 years. that's about all for now
