Russ's Story

Let's see, after 4 great years at CHS, I moved to Wash. State. Worked at Alcoa for a year then off to the US Navy for 7 years, mostly in the Pacific Fleet with 2 years in Hawaii on the USS BLUEBACK SS-581 Submarine. (IT'S BEEN DECOMMISONED and is parked in Portland, go see it.) Next i moved to LA area and worked 9 ye...Expand for more
ars at General Motors. There were a couple Electronics jobs in there too. In 1990, I decided to move to Montana, where I built a 4 bedroom home and retired at age 40. They said it couldn't be done..... I did it. I have been in NW Montana ever since. My home grew to 5 bedrooms and I added a large garage. So here I am.
