I also recieved my diplomas for attending MasterLife Discipleship Training and Evagelism Explosion; attended correspondence through Liberty University in Lynchberg, Virginia: studies were; Old and New Testament Survey, Doctrines and Foundations of the Church.
17 November 2001; I was married to Teresa A. Turner at Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland, Texas, where I have been a member since March 1998; Pastor Rev. Dickson Rial.
Enlisted in the Texas State Guard, Sworn in on 24 Sept. 2011, Saturday morning at the 4th Regt. Texas National Guard Armory in Ft. Worth, Texas as PFC Gahm, Joe; assigned to the 2nd BN 4th Regt., Alpha Co. CA; Panther Fencibles, "Sempre Caveo".
On 19 - 21 Oct 2012 at Fort Walters in Mineral Wells, Tx. for training, on 20 Oct 2012 at approx. 0700 hrs I was promoted to the rank of E-4/CPL and became Squad Leader for the weekend. During the "AT" training I received the Expert Pistol Certificate. After returning back to my HOR (Home of Report) I received word that I became Asst. Squad Leader of 2nd Sqd, 1st PLT 4th Regt. Alpha Co. Civil Affairs. Received an accomedation from Col. Howard Palmer for manning the Communication Radio Equipement during the Shelter Management Training being held at the Denton High School.
I am also on the Color/Honor Guard for the 2nd BN, 4th Regt. Alpha Co. Civil Affairs.
On 30 Oct 2012, completed all requirements for my Basic MEMS Badge (Military Emergency Management System). I am a member of SGAUS (State Guard Association of the United States).".
On 15 - 18 Aug 2013, the 2BN 4th Regt. Alpha Co. Civil Affairs; Color/Honor Guard was asked to Present the Colors for the OCS (Officers Candidate School) Class '56 in Austin, Texas at the House of Representative Chambers.
On 26 July 2014; I was promoted to the Rank E-5/Sgt. (Sergeant)
