Russell's Story
After high school I worked at a job for awhile doing surveying and drafting. At 21 I was looking for a little adventure so I joined the Army. I went to Fort Sill OK for Artillery, then went to Germany for two years. During thaat time, Desert Strom/Desert Shield broke out and my unit was sent, 4/27 FA. After that I went to Fort Hood , Texas, where I met my wife. We have lived in Texas and Colorado...Expand for more
. We have also had two children, Kathryn (Katie) and Russ Jr. (RJ.) We have setlled down in Seekonk, MA. When we got back to RI, I joined the RI NAtional Guard (I guess I'll never learn) and the rest is history. Currently (April 16, 2008,) I am wrapping up a one year deployment in Iraq. I look forward to coming home and planting a rose garden around the Mary-on-a-half-shell I am going to install.
