Russell's Story

I played basketball at Lakeview and in college. I joined the Navy and served four years in Viet Nam, then moved to Dallas and began my career in the lumber business at Sutherland Lumber Company. I married and moved around in Texas and Louisiana but stayed in the lumber business. My wife, Kath...Expand for more
erine, and I had two kids and ended up back in West Texas in 1980 when I started my own business, Framing Square Lumber Company in Midland. We now have 40 years of marriage, 30 years in business, and six grandkids that keep us busy with soccer games, band concerts, school plays, and horse shows.
