It has been an interesting journey. After DHS started going by my middle name, Scott, or RS, or R Scott, depending on who I am talking to. Graduated Essex C.C., U. of Denver (BA psych), New York Univ. (MA counseling), U of MD College Park (PhD counseling psychology). Licensed psychologist since 1986. US Navy Submarine Service 2 yrs active duty, 4 yrs reserves. Served on a Fleet Ballistic Missile submarine and a diesel boat as a sonar tech, STS2(SS). Psychologist, MD Army National Guard 2 yrs. Psychologist, MD Air National Guard 2 yrs. Retired Lt Col, USAF. Have had a variety of mental health jobs, civilian and military. Last clinical job was at Howard AFB, Republic of Panama. The hospital on Howard served all military service members, their families and the civilians working in embassies throughout Central and South America.
