Life
My road has taken me to the four corners, the road I am on now has taken me into the very heart of Iraq and back again, I got to view this history firsthand, daily I walked it, and nightly I listened to it as it whispered its song in my ears. I am undoubtedly in the middle of the first great war of this century. Aside from bearing witness to this war and all of its frustrations and horrors, I have something that not every soldier here has, I have a reason to go home. My wife, is there waiting for me, and that is more than I ever thought I'd deserve.
I am back now, from "the war", I am in Central California and all is quiet on the Western Front. I work on a small base, 300 miles from anywhere. It is quiet, it is boring, it is as close to peace as I have known for o...Expand for more

College
I went to Kemper Military Jr College graduated in 1991, took a 10 year detour via the University of Sam's Misguided Children (USMC), then when I realized that I really didn't like getting shot at, I finished at Pepperdine, with a BS (HAHAHA!!) in Organizational Management. I started Grad School at Norwich seeking an MA in International Relations, then again got sidetracked by a little war in South West Asia, called Iraqi Freedom.
I changed my mind... After Iraq a Masters in International Relations seems...lame. I have since decided to seek my Masters in Military History, with an emphasis on the Roman Empire. I am still writing my fictionalized book on "the war", and there is much sarcasm.
