My Life - updated March 28, 2017 My Spouse We met on an elevator in the office building where we both worked. Our offices were on the same floor and we started passing each other every day, eventually started talking and became good friends. After 20 years together, we married in August of 2000. Michael and I also own and operate an international management consulting firm together. We continue to travel the world for our business and for pleasure. Michael has made it possible for me to see and enjoy parts of the world I never dreamed possible. I have been very lucky and have led an amazing life and am extremely grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way. Some of the experiences our life has afforded us include: visiting the ruins at Ephesus, traveling by ship to Antarctica, standing right in the middle of a penguin colony (very up close and personal), an almost private tour of Pompeii, a day visiting the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia, and last year enjoying an amazing dinner and musical performance in the middle of the desert followed the next morning by an unbelievable visit to Petra, shopping in the Dubai Mall and going to the top of the Burj Kalifa. for drinks and a spectacular sunset.
