Dr. Ruth A.'s Story
What have I been up to? Well after high school I worked for a few years and then decided to go back to school. Obtained a BA from Suffolk Univ in Bost,, a MS and PhD from Northeastern. I worked my way through graduate school by teaching. I then managed some post doc work beginning at St Elizabeths Hosp in Boston, went on to Brookhaven Nati'l Labs, on Long Island; went from there to Lawrence Berkeley Labs for a couple of years in Berkeley CA, worked in research at Stanford Children's Hos...Expand for more
p, Oakland Childrens Hosp, and finally moved over to Industry. Worked at such companies as Chiron, Bayer, Amgen, and finally have been retired for about 2 yars. However, I got a call the other day from someone who would like to pick my brain and I may end up doing some consulting. I have done quite a bit of travelling over the years to Asia and Europe primarily. China was the best and got to hold a baby panda while there. All in all it's been a pretty good life and oh yes I am married.
