Ruth's Story
Life
I have 3 children. Andrew is 33 and single. Jennifer is 28 and married, living in Michigan. And, Joel is 26. Both my sons live in So. California near me. I was married to Danny Figueroa, a wonderful man, for 32 years. 2 1/2 years ago I decided to go on my own. Having married at 21 and not finishing college changed my life forever. And, even though I'm grateful to God for everything, I feel I should have exercised my free will to choose what would have been the most productive. Now, I'm single and discovering life. I'm seeing a wonderful man, but still feel that I want to proceed with caution, so as to fulfill some of my dreams.
I've managed to keep my shape and looks and feel sexier than and healthier than I did 30 years ago! But, the most important thing is I'm happy with the person inside me.

School
My biggest crush was on one of the black students in the advanced English class. He was so handsome and intelligent. I can't remember his name, but he received a full scholarship to Brown University. I believe he wanted to become a doctor.
I have keen memories of Morris H.S. during our senior year, but they tend to be very personal, as I didn't do the party scene with the other students. Because the performing arts were my first love, I tended to hang out a lot with the theater group. Too bad I never pursued that path. My father, before passing away, asked that I remain in the academic setting to as not to "get lost" in the world. Looking back now, had I done what my heart really wanted, things would have been very different.
