Ruth's Story

I'm Ruth's daughter, Kathy, writing for my mom... Married Dick Blakely in 1950. Dick passed in Feb 2015 at age 91. Siblings Charles, Robert, Kate & twin Russell all attended South HS and all married South HS students. Sadly, all have passed as well as their spouses. Ruth has 3 kids, 7 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids. She is a 3 time cancer ...Expand for more
survivor among other assorted illnesses that come along, most recently a broken hip and heart valve replacement--and she's as sharp as ever at age 88! Still goes to church and bowled her whole life until the last couple of years. She crochets, goes out to breakfast with friends each week and loves the game show channel. That's all for now...
