Ruth's Story
I left Westhill after junior year because my father was going to have a job transfer. So I applied to college early and when I was accepted everyone encouraged me to go anyway. I don't know what I missed senior year. I majored in economics at Brandeis University then switched to Psychology. I went to Clinical Psychology graduate school at Hofstra University. and my work as a school psychologist for deaf children. A few years later I had boy-girl twins, Daniel and Leila and another son, Joshua two years later. The kids are done with college and my husband and I are enjoying the free time. We like to travel, hike and do yoga. I am in private practice, seeing adults and children. I specialize in autism, gifted children,and children's adjustment to divorce. I became vegan five years ago and am embracing my inner hippie.
