Ruth's Story

Hi everyone! Life has certainly had its ups and downs for me (whose hasn't??), but I've gotten through and those rough times have made me who I am today, so, no complaints there. The loves of my life are my children. I have three grown children that are doing great in life. The oldest is Don, who is 26 and has now in Columbus to pursue his career in acting. He's working for ShadowBox Theater there and waiting for his big break. Hard career to get into, I hope he gets that break soon. If you live in or near Columbus, go see him! Its a great theater company. My second son is Chris and he's 24 now. He moved back to Columbus a little over a two and a half years ago and is now married and the proud father of a 2 year old little boy. The love of my life!! :)) Chris has completely turned his life around and is working hard to support his family. He's doing a great job! He's been promoted in his job with his own department, created just for him! Something to do with computers, which he has always been a genius with...Expand for more
! My youngest is my daughter, Jaimie, who is 20. Jaimie is in her junior year at George Mason University, close to me. Its been such a joy to watch her grow up and become the beautiful young woman that she is, both inside and out. I am so looking forward to her becoming the great woman I know she will be. As for me, I am living in Virginia, in what was a small colonial town that is now booming everywhere. We're about 35 miles outside of D.C., which is an exciting place to visit. I celebrated my 11th anniversary to my second husband this year, who has three children of his own. Two of them are older, so I didn't have anything to do with their growing up years. The other one is Kelly, who is 22 and has lived with us since she was 14. She is working hard at finding her place in life, which I'm sure she will soon. She also is turning into a lovely young woman! Basically, that's my life in a nutshell right now. I enjoy my dogs, my family and life right now. Drop me a line and let me know how you are doing!! : )
