June 5, 2011............Updating my life. Much has changed since I was on this cite last. All 5 of our children are grown and all are married but one. The "baby" was married a year ago and my husband and I wondered what we were going to do with ourselves being empty nesters. We were married over 26 yrs ago with a houseful of children. He had 1 and I had 4....6 months later we found out "ours" was on the way, suprise!! My step-son came in and out but we raised 5 all the way to adult hood. It would sadden me if it weren't for our 7 grandchildren. Oh my..how much I love those children, and when we get worn out they get to go home....oh and lets not forget the joys of grandparents filling the children up with sweets and sending them home....LOL We still live on the farm. Owned it for 21yrs. Still have the cows...but now we've invested in "miniature" cows. They're of the Dexter variety if you want to look them up on the internet. One is due to calf any day now. We still have our chickens, about 20 of them, if anyone wishes ...Expand for more
