I’m writing this on behalf of my mom, Ruth Gelmon, nee Smith who passed away in 2003. I wanted to include her in here because I remember her speaking of her years at King Ed high and all her highschool memories. to write too much as I’m sure if you knew my mom you probably kind of knew that she got married in 1962 to my father, Danny Gelmon. They had two kids, myself and my older sister. It wasn’t a happy union, but I’m sure that’s no surprise and they finally split up for good around 1980. My mother’s family all had heart disease and my mother succumbed to it in Oct of 2003.
