Charles's Story

Hi to all that remember me. I still live in Southern Ca. and have been in the Carpenters Union since 1970. I plan to retire in 5 yrs. and maybe teach people how to fish :) I have 2 beautiful grown daughters and a lovely wife of 32 yrs. I plan to move to Idaho or Co. at retirement. I love composting and gardening. I am the tomato man and have been for 30 yrs. I used to raise Bull Terrier...Expand for more
s but have no animals now. I have been to two reunions and plan to attend one more. My closest friend from High School and I still see from time to time is Dale Dandie. I do all the cooking at my home and love it. Well that's about 38 yrs. in only 3 small paragraphs, what about the rest of you? Life is short and goes by so fast. Reach out and tell someone about it. Started packing to move three weeks ago, and packed all my lids. Had this great idea from my wife, looks like it's going to work just fine.
My garden this year, started in March , end of March. Having a good time.

Temp. at 1:45 Wed. Today, was 109 here in Wildomar Ca at 1:45 P.M. As you can see 7 min. later, things are starting to cool down. Going to clime another 8 or 10 more tomorrow and each day until Sunday. Come on SUNSHINE. We
Heading to Oceanside beach at 6:40 A.M. to spend the day with family. 89' at noon there today Sun 9-13-15.
This big fellow was walking down my street Sunday 10-25-15 around 2:30 or so. I believe it was around the 200lb. mark. May have been dropped off. Animal control picked him/her up with the help of my good neighbors.
4th of July, 2016. In this house 30 yrs. today, BBQ chicken every Yr. on this day. Added ribs this time, and need to start. Wish You (all) Were Here. Be safe all.

The Blueberry season has begun in the Temecula Valley, and time to freeze pounds for the full Yr. Will last a full Yr. if put in freezer bags.
Guess what's for dinner at my house today? Yes with gravy, dressing, mashed potatoes, the works... YUM.

Got this large snail shell today at Oceanside beach. Does anyone know what's inside. Look close. Didn't see this until I got home.
