Life
I graduated from Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa, which no longer exists, so it is a bit difficult to have college reunions. I taught English for the Omaha Pub. Schools and then stayed home for a number of years to raise our 3 kids: Kristen, who graduated from Penn State, became a teacher, too, and now stays home with her 2 darling kids; Kerry, who graduated from the U of Michigan, married, became an engineer for Peter Kiewit, and gave birth to our darling grandson; Andy, who graduated and played baseball f...Expand for more
or the Univ. of NC, is back in Omaha as director of the Boys' and Girls' Club of Omaha. I taught English at Millard North High School for 15 years, and I just retired last year. Now Vic and I can travel more and we spend a lot of time with our 3 grandkids. We own a business called Vic's Corn Popper, which keeps us a bit busy. I am on the reunion committee, so I have been fortunate enough to see a few of our classmates recently. We hope that we get a good turn out for our 40th reunion over the LaborDay weekend.
