Life
I currently live in Palm Springs CA with Sherry, my life partner of 16 years. I've lived in NY, LA, TX, MN (for 16 years prior to my move to CA) - I've worked in health care (last as a nursing home administrator) retail (have owned several businesses and still do some festival types of sales) and travel, my passion. My most recent job was as a Customer Relations supervisor at Northwest Airlines where I specialized in Executive Communications. have one biological daugher, Sonya Beth, who lives in Oklahoma. I've been a stepmother, foster parent, and biological parent. My passions have involved me in peace and justice movements and civil rights movements as long as I can remember. I was the co-founder of a shelter for battered women in TX, have served on numerous boards and am very active in both the Women's movement and LGBT movement as well as the civil rights movement and peace movement. I am a long-time pacifist and am looking forward to a world without the likes of Bush. I'm very interested in connections with old friends.
