Ruthann's Story
I lived in Troy all my life until 2004. My husband retired from the RO. Fire Marshall. I retired then from a wonderful job managing a medical practice for 21 yrs.and decided to move Az. 10-04. All three of our married children, their babies, and dogs decided to come with us. What wonderful children who have or expecting children. By Feb. 09 we will have 7 grand Angels.
I enjoy writing, reading, playing the piano (if you can call it that), swimming, boating and enjoying my family. I am still very close friend of Linda Hicks who went through Troy schools with us, but moved to Port Huron in 11th grade. She also moved to Az for the winters last year.

to movies,dinners, museums, plays and musicals, putt putt golf. We walk, and ride bikes.
The craziest thing at THS was to be the TROY COLT.
I wore that silly costume and and could act out of character. It was so much fun!
The entries in my yearbook discribed me as "SWEET" except Dennis Stokes who wrote"sweat" I guess that is not a bad way to be remembered.
The one thing I was proud to have accomplished, is that as V.P. of Student Gov't, I fought against Mr. Kolasar, and the principal to give the girls the right to wear pants to school, which had never been done. I got it passed in time for the class of 1970 enjoyed it. I never got one thank you note, imagine!
