Ruthie's Story

Life Tim and I (married 33 years!) have two grown and married sons, and one grandson. We're empty-nesters! YAY! We do, however, have two Jack Russell terriers who keep us hopping. I went back to school in '93 to get my master's degree in counseling, and work as a counseling therapist. I love it, since I get to meet and visit with people all day long! If I hear from anyone from my past, though, I promise not to analyze. We like to travel, and France is our current favorite. I think it's because of the food and fashion, not to mention the wine and the gracious people. oul-mates and are a joy to watch in their developing marriages. Our grandson is now 16, and taller than both of us (not a hard task!). Still praying for more grandchildren, but the Lord knows! Tim has written and published a book on listening: Powerful Listening, Powerful Influence, that I highly recommend. He also speaks and trains in the relational skills. He's a gifted teacher/trainer, and stays busy with that and with his small counseling and coaching practice on the side. I love my counseling practice, and specialize in trauma, marriage, women's issues, and mother-daughter relationships. I especially enjoy working with teenaged girls, because I remember being one--doesn't seem like that long ago. Grace and peace to each of you in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ!
