Ruthie's Story
After graduating from Kenmore, I continued to work in Akron until late fall of 1978. I then moved to Greenville, SC and found work as a Nurses Assistant and attended a local college.
I married Phil Webb in 1980 and we went on to have 4 sons. In 1994 Phil's job moved us to Clermont-Ferrand France. We returned to SC in 1995 and continued to work & live there.
In 1998 a daughter joined the family! :) We felt that we really had a "call" on our lives to Missions and each did several short-term mission trips to different countries.
In 2005, we sold and/or gave away everything and set off w/the 3 young...Expand for more
est children for Thailand to volunteer in an HIV/AIDS home for children.
After 2 years there, we took another(volunteer) position as Compassionate Ministries Coordinator's for SE Asia w/the church of the Nazarene.
As of this past summer, yet another son has returned to the U.S. to attend university. We miss our 3 oldest boys, but know that we are to continue our lives/work here as Missionaries serving the Thai and Hilltribe people in Northern Thailand.
Big changes in my life for those of you who knew me in my years at Kenmore!
