Ryan's Story
Played FB and was a hurdler on the track team at BHS. Played FB a couple yrs. at Moorhead State before transferring to and graduating from Oregon State University. Taught HS science and coached for nine years at 4 different HSs. Lived for 10 years in Oregon and while there was an eyewitness to the big Mt. St. Helens eruption. I've been married to the same woman since '84 and have two sons. Have lived in Virginia for the last 27 years and work for the Virginia Dept. of Heal...Expand for more

Don't get back to MN very often, but was in St. Paul for a conference in 2012 and managed to get together with some buddies from my old neighborhood and we took in a Twins game at their great new stadium.
I miss having season tickets to the Vikings (in the good old days when they played outdoors), the old Lucky Twin Drive In theater and being able to snowmobile and ride mini-bikes in the fields and woods that used to surround River Hills!
