S.'s Story
Well, now that I have hit 40 I am evaluating what I have done with the years I have had.
I have loved the wrong kind of man. Got beat up alot and put an end to that. Luckily I didn't set him on fire, just divorced him.
I adopted a son, who might as well have been out of me because he is just like me.
I remarried a wonderful guy ( much older than I am) and surprisingly found out that it wasn't me who had a problem getting pregnant, I just needed a new rooster. So at 35 I was giving birth for the first time. (Not a mother at 35, I already had one son and my new hubby had 4, so when my youngest was born in 2003 I was a mother of 5 and a grandmother to 3)
Needless to say, I have seen alot in my little time here. Surprising how in phase English I was...Expand for more
asked how I saw myself in 15 years, I replied 6 kids and that is what I ended up with. Just took me a little longer than I thought.
I am now working on the internet. So I am a stay at home Mom/granny. Still would have a couple more but Daddy says no, and so does the doc.
Oh well, it is a little odd that when you have a child he/she comes out as uncle/auntie.
Still reinventing myself daily so I don't get bored.
Still into art. Can't change that.
Still love music.
Quit smoking after several years. And I've put on too much weight this winter because of it.
DONT EVER QUIT SMOKING DURING THE HOLIDAYS. TOO MUCH GOOD FOOD TO EAT LAYING AROUND.
So now I need to concentrate on dropping pounds. I am doing yoga, walking, kick boxing so we will see.
