Jill's Story
Life
I went to UCSD for college, where I studied Visual Arts ultimately to earn a degree in Film Production. I was fortunate to spend my third year of college living in Venice, Italy and studying Art History from all of the Italian masters right at my finger tips. Upon graduation I had my first film production job as the "assistant to the producer" of a little known, piece of crap film called "Quest of the Delta Knights." I am proud to say that it's only claim to fame was that it became a favorite on "Mystery Science 3000." Eventually, I worked my way up to mainstream features such as "Interview with the Vampire" only to decide after five years, that I had had enough of the "industry" and it was time to move on.
I made the decision to switch gears and go to graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner. I moved out to Boston, where I lived for three years and enjoyed the change, but knew that my heart was back in the Bay Area. In ...Expand for more
1999 I moved to the Dolores Park area of San Francisco where I remain to this day.
I am currently working at Kaiser Permanente in Richmond (yeah, that's right Richmond...the most dangerous city in CA) as an OB/Gyn Nurse Practioner. I have been there for 6 years & believe me I have seen it all, nothing shocks me anymore.
As for my personal life, well, I am single, no children and just live my life to be happy. About five years ago I decided to take singing lessons and have since been having a blast fronting a few rock bands and an acoustic trio. I also love dancing, especially swing and lindy hop and a few of my close friends out there know I have added a new form of dance to my activities ;)!
I also love to travel, have been to Thailand, Cambodia,Israel, all over Mexico & many European countries. I will also be spending three weeks in Turkey just before the reunion.
I look forward to seeing all of you and catching up!
