Sallie's Story

I moved to El Cerrito during my 9th grade year. My best friend is Janice Bean-Meyer. I mostly went unnoticed during high school. The group that I hung out with called ourselves the 'Anti click -click'. I went to SF State and got a degree in Recreation of all things. Not being able to find a job in that field, I went to the police academy and joined the BART police dept. I became a ...Expand for more
canine handler which was the best job ever. I retired from the dept. after I had to shoot and kill a person in the line of duty. I'm living in a small community in Northern California. I have been married for 18 years to Robert Nishiyama(Nish) who went to Albany High School. I am mostly retired and enjoy the beauty of area. I teach dog training classes and help people with dog issues.
