Sally's Story
Hi All,
I can't believe it has been 50 years since high school graduation.
I went to college after high school, first to Turkey Tech (Stanislaus State) for a BA in Political Science and then on to Cal State Hayward for a MPA (Masters in Public Administration). After several job moves I settled down with the University of California, Office of the President.
During the job hopping I also was married for about 2 years and then divorced. I married again and have been married for 35 yrs. We have 2 children, a son and a daughter. After graduating from USC and Manhattan School of Music, or son is a musician/composer/music director in Manh...Expand for more
attan. After graduating from San Jose State and Western University in Pomona, our daughter is a Veterinarian in So Cal.
I still have horses in my back yard. I have added genealogy to my hobbies and get a great kick out of tracking down family history. I also enjoy gardening and projects that involve being outside.
I am a 4-H Leader, member of DAR, active in Toastmasters, on the Board of Hayward La Honda Music Camp, and on the Fairview Municiple Advisory Council. If you guessed I'm retired, you're right. After almost 30 years with UC it was time to call it a day.
I have lived a quiet life. It suits me.
