Sally's Story
Life
I am now living on a small farm in
Danforth, IL and working as a public library director in Gilman, IL. I have a roommate, 2 dogs,
assorted cats, a sheep and a few chickens. My roommate and I love to garden. I still like to sing and
am a member of the Methodist Church
choir. I got my master's degree in
library science in 2003. I'd love to see all of my classmates attend the next reunion! 2004 was great.
College
I majored in several different subjects before settling on

cation. I was inconsistent in academic work,
getting A's and F's and everything between. I left ISU for
a few years while married to Randy Schaeffer and then went back to Bloomington. I worked on a master's in Media but didn't finish. We both worked at PATH Crisis Center. We
split up in 1973. I left Bloomington-Normal in 1976, moving
to Kankakee with my roommate Cindy Stachowicz. In 1999 I started work on a Master's Degree in Library Science at Chicago State University. I graduated in 2003.
