Sally's Story

In my former life, I left Oakton for UNC-Chapel Hill, where I studied journalism. After graduating, I headed back to D.C. and worked at U.S. News & World Report. Next phase: I moved to New York, worked (and traveled) for SKIING Magazine, married Y...Expand for more
orktown H.S. & UVA grad Tyler Mathisen, and moved to Montclair, NJ. We adopted our son Ian in 1993. In 2003, I got divorced and went back to school to become a paralegal. Now I'm definitely enjoying life, and hoping my son finds his path as well.
