Sally's Story
Life
*Moved back to Walpole in 2005 after a hiatus.
*Remarried in 2007 to a wonderful man, making our family just "Cindy" shy of the Brady Bunch (don't ask me which one is most like Jan).
*Extricated myself from a high stress job with miserable Boss. Now I work for myself doing home Physical Therapy, work part time with a wonderful group of residents, coworkers at several Skilled Nursing Facilities and spend MUCH more time with my children and family.
*Took the long road around everything in life thus far but finally got priorities straight and found happiness. REALLY relate to the song 'God Bless the Broken Road'.
*Seeking forgiveness from friends who've been slighted by me over the years. It wasn't intentional and it's far too easy to get caught in your own life when so much of it is going wrong. Hoping to reconnect now that life has stabilized.
Stepson Tom just joined the USAF, bootcamp in Texas then off to Tech School in December 2008.
Stepdaughter Kelly on hiatus from college studying to be a teacher...hoping she'll return to class soon.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Ann Stockwell, because she's been my best friend through thick and thin, refusing ...Expand for more
to let my PIA chase her away. Haven't spoken in some time, not sure why. Called several times and left messages but were never returned. Miss her. Would love to reunite.
I share my home with my beloved husband, my two children, a cockatiel Audrey, Yorkie dog Percival, Bunny Jessica, which I find bizarre. Only need an emu or alpaca to complete the picture. Just kidding.
Philosophy:
#Life is too short, too much time is
wasted waiting for the "Right
Moment.
#None of us know how long we'll be
here. Treasure the little things
in life as much as the large ones.
#You cannot hug/kiss/love your
children, your spouse, your family
too much.
#Your true and dearest friends are
those who stick by your side
through the good and the bad times,
watch your back, protect you, love
you, laugh with you, tell you that
yes your butt really DOES look fat
in those jeans, and though they may
not always agree with you they CAN
listen to and respect your opinions
as much as their own. "If you can
count on your fingers on one hand
the number of true friends in your
life, you can consider yourself
very wealthy and blessed indeed."
