Life
Tired of winters and in search of the Muse, I moved to New Orleans in 1990 with my then 11 year old son Collin. I work as a freelance writer, music producer, cultural activist, community organizer and all-around rabble rouser. I founded the New Orleans Blues Project, a music & cultural economci development project and recently formed the New Orleans Rhythm Conspiracy, a music & cultural collective that released its debut CD, "Dancin' Ground" during Jazz Fest 2007. I am one class away from receiving my BA in Urban Studies and plan on grad work in economic scoiology. Post-Katrina New Orleans is like an urban studies lab and there is tons of fodder for a thesis in economic sociology....everyone's real funny about the money, ya know......
