Sally's Story

Life Most of you who know me know that I was dating Jeff Alger (Cathedral H.S. grad) when we all graduated. We married in 1971 after I graduated from I.U. in Dental Hygiene and he graduated Purdue Univ. in Aeronautical Engineering. Jeff continued to earn his masters in Mechanical Engineering. Believe it or not we are still married! We then moved to Phoenix, had a daughter named Lori, then moved to St. Cloud MN and had another daughter named Jennifer. We then moved to Eagle River, Alaska for 15 years where Jeff worked for Alyeska Pipeline. We moved to Ft. Collins, CO in 1996 where Jeff works for an environmental consulting firm. daughter Lori went to Univ. of Colorado-Boulder and is now a computer software engineer. She is married to Dave who works for an agency that develops equipment that is launched into orbit to explore space. She just gave birth to twin boys. Our daughter Jennifer worked for social services in Baltimore Maryland and is married to a Scottish man who works for National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Jenn and Scott have three children, Dylan (6) Baillie (4), and McKenzie (almost 2). Of course, they are the cutest kids ever! I have worked part time for years. I earned my Graphic Design degree in 2004 at Colorado State University.
