Sally's Story
Hello all from Wayland Central. I am not a frequent visitor to this site but so many have requested information that I decided to let you all know where I am. First I live in a rural community called Hockley Texas. My hubby John, and I own a 3 acre farm (plot) with three horses, two dogs, a cat that adopted us and wonderful neighbors.
I ride dressage on my 17.2 horse Mac, the other 2 are retired horses that just eat, drink and poop!!! One horse Ebony is 30 years old, an Arabian that I rode until 2 years ago when I retired her to a life of what ever she wants, the oth...Expand for more
er Arabian is Chance who is 18 that we used as a brood mare. She too is retired and simply takes what she wants, she is a pistol.
John retired from Chevron Chemical Company after 37 years of service and is supervising the building of the covered arena, work shop, tractor shed and al the other grounds keeping. He loves it,
Texas is unseasonably hot right now, today is 100 degrees so work starts really early and last until it gets too hot to move and we all come inside.
I love retirement, when I worked I got more done than now but love it anyway. All of you come visit.
