Diana's Story

Life hello to all the fellow highlanders out there in so much space i am particularly fond of "my space" I find allot to talk about and its well worth the cost its free so come to my space and sit a spell and lets rustle up a few long lost friends particular to those who graduated between 73to76 if you remember who I am left in 75. I stayed in Bkfld for 37 years to move to Oregon in 95. My family and I called Grand Ronde home for the first 5 years then moved up the road to Sheridan. Still there. Four kids, 5 grand.. Got to love that. I work with horses and those that remember me well would only say what else would Diana do? I love what I do. I run a equine retirement home for retired show horses. Currently I house 7. Very rewarding to say the least due to the fact that we all look forward to retirement :) I am on 85 acres surrounded by some of the most beautiful country God ever created. Deer come in each day to trim my rose bush's and all sorts of other wild life call this home. I still have two boys at home David and Dan, both in high school so it keeps me young. Both in FFA and David just recently showed his rabbit (Rylie) at he Polk co. fair and the State fair in Salem. He fared well for his first year at this. These two boys are from my sec. marriage to Larry Saltvick. We have been together for 17 years. As some of you might recollect I married Rocky Bullard in 1975 and we were married for 10 years having Dustyn & Daina both married and they are the reason I have 5 grands!! I am not called Grandma (yuck) I am Myee.and that works for me I am too young to be gma. :) I'm not sure why I (after so many years) decided to reach out ...Expand for more
to all of you I guess maybe seeing how many friend the boys have in school and that they don't have a clue how easy it is to loose touch. So maybe there are a few of you that are looking for that reconnection too. Diana Holden ,Julie Drake, Andy simmrin, Mellissa Mickle(I forgive you for wanting to color my hair) Linda Lowder, the list goes on.People that were a part of my every day life that only come to mind now and yet I feel like were just a dream.Water under the bridge sort of say. I haven't changed to say the least as far as my looks oh ya there are the smile lines and the stands of gray but I am so very sure if you saw me on the street you would know me I still have hair to my knees and I still wear it in a braid. Why haven't I cut it? Why should I? Thats the question. I still love my bell bottoms( so glad they came back) :) I guess the hippy chick look works for me.Now not to say that when I go on an occasional trip to say Reno with friends we don't bling out Oh ya!!! But being a ranch manager keeps me grounded and you would more than likely find me in bibbs. So that hasn't changed from back in the day. As you can tell I'm still down to earth and love it that way. So whats happened to all of you? Guess some day I need to get to a reunion. Just when that's the question. Soon it a must. Need to see those smiling faces. I hope all of you have done well in whatever you have chosen to do in life. Hope all is healthy and well. Just remember if you don't use it you loose it! I hope to hear from those who would like to say hello I think that would be fun. So take care and till next time. Always Diana Francisco
