Salvatore's Story
Life
Stayed single for a long time. Wasn't mature enough to have an adult relationship. Have many friends. Became very close to my father over the years, he was more in tune than I took the time to know. Made some mistakes but don't wish too hard about taking them back. College was the turning point for me. The Franciscans really showed me the way. I still volunteer my time from the day I found the right path in college. Love working with kids, it keeps me fresh and helps to keep me close to mine. I love sports, baseball in particular. Wish I could still play but coaching has taken up the slack. Worked for my MBA while working full time, building an addition on our house as we were having our 4th child. School
Loved the fun I had making friends at school. If I have two regrets, I'm really sorry I didn't work harder at maintaining better contact over the years with high school friends as I did with my college friends. Wish I used my time more effectively. Could have done more with my mind in those years. Better late than never though.
College
College was the turning point in my life. I found my first true love (although it didn't last) and we still keep in touch to this day. My first roommate and a couple of other friends went to a concert (YES, a concert) a couple of weeks ago. They say you can't go back. I don't buy it. The Franciscans saved my life. I finally grew up although it took me a while to mature, I did grow up. Became responsible in study, with friends and with my family. What a great time. My only regret is that I didn't get as good a start as I could have if I grew up a little more in high school.
