Sam's Story
After being real good boy throughout high school, band and all, I went off to college and "all hell broke loose." Without going into all the details, I soon became an alcoholic and drug addict and rode that horse for 19 years. I did eventually graduate college and spent 15 years in real estate rentals. Sober in 1986, I became a drug and alcohol counselor in 1990 and entered formal ministry in 1999, being ordained as a United Methodist minister in 2003.
If I made it there is hope for anyone.

d 28 years with four adopted children between 8 yrs and 4 1/2 years. Life is never dull.
But this Classmates process has become frustrating for me. During my years of addiction, I burned out a big part of my brain. I am hearing from folks and I have no immnediate memory who you are. So please, if you read this and contact me, try to include some info to jog my memory. Don't have many relaxing activities. Usually to blow off steam go to an AA meeting or just get to myself and holler at God for a while.
