Sam's Story

Life I attended LBCC from 1963-65. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 1970 with a degree in pharmacy. I worked at CSULB from 1971 until my retirement in '95. I was married in '70, '75 and '83. I played rugby in the 70's and softball in the 70's and 80's. My third and final wife, Karen, and...Expand for more
I have been married 36 years. We have a daughter who is 50 yrs old and a grandson who is 23. From 1997 to 2007, I was the consulting pharmacist for Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. I have had no spiritual awakenings though i have seen "Jesus Christ Superstar" 35 times.

David McCallum 1933-2023 R.I.P. I first saw McCallum in "A Night to Remember" (1958) which is the best film made about the Titanic. I loved him in "Man From U.N.C.L.E" (1964-1968).

Anthony Dominick Benedetto 1926-2023 R.I.P. He performed under the name Tony Bennett.
Alan Arkin 1934-2023 R.I.P One of my favorite actors. I loved him in The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Catch-22, The In-Laws, Glengarry Glen Ross, etc.
