John's Story
Life
After finishing at Live Oak I went all
the way to Jackson, Mississippi to
major in biology. I had a ball in
Mississippi and then came back to
California to start medical school at
The University of California, San
Francisco. After med school I kind of
wandered around to Mississippi,
Washington DC, Florida and even
Minnesota. I am now living in Maryland
where I practice anesthesia and
critical care medicine with...Expand for more

military at Walter Reed Army medical
center.
In my spare time I organize and
participate in humanitarian medical
missions to Africa. As a result of
this I am intimately involved in the
Greater Washington Society of
Anesthesiology, (www.G-W-S-A.com) and
Pro-Health International,
(www.ProHealthAfrica.com).
I am always happy to meet and talk to
my comrades from Live Oak High, Jackson
State University or UCSF.
