Samuel's Story

A month after graduation from high school, I was in a life changing accident. I spent the rest of that year, and all of the next one re-learning how to talk, write, read, to move my arm, and to walk all over again. The doctors told my family, after they were done saving my lie, if I survived that night, I would be bedridden for the rest of my life. those others doctors who still doubted me and said I would not make it out of college, after I proved them wrong about being bedridden. I graduated from Youngstown State in August of 2009 with a BSAS in Exercise Science. It was suggested to me when I was finishing my therapy back in 1998 that I write a book about what I had to deal with during my time in therapy, and college. I am now working on my book and am up to 63,300+ words on paper. I am hopping to have it ready to submit to a publisher by summer of 2015, i not sooner.
