Samuel's Story
I served 12 years in the Air Force as an F-15 and F-16 crew chief in the United States Air Force, with 2 overseas tours, one to Kadena A.B. Okinawa, Japan in 1982-1984 with deployments to the Phillippines, Korea, and Mainland Japan. The other one was to Hahn A.B. Germany in 1988-1989, with deployments to Turkey, and Spain. I was honorably discharged in 1992 at the rank of SSgt. I then went to college, graduating in 1997 with a marketing degree. I then attained my Insurance license with Mass Mutual Insurance Company, and also worked at Monumental Insurance Company, both in Tampa. d be interested in having some former classmates go with me, to MacDill A.F.B, I have full base privileges. I am now a Sales Manager at Advanced Technical Resources of Florida, in Largo, FL. I was a shy, reserved person in High School, and a lot of people probably wont remember me. I lived on Davis Island during my high school years, my nickname was 'Dusty". I will celebrate my 50th birthday on August 23rd.
I always wanted to be a architect or work around airplanes, when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea as far as going in the service and beihg a mechanic "crew chief" on fighter jets. It was a bad idea being an architect as it turned out, because my math skills were lacking.
