Samuel's Story

College After graduating from Norwell, I started a 14 year quest for knowledge and a draft deferment. I graduated from Purdue in electrical enginering. After working for almost two years, I changed directions and went to Medical school at IU. I met my current wife who is now a pediatrician and specializes in child development. Then Dartmouth Medical school for pathology internship and residency. We spent 9 years in VT working in a small hospital. 2 Years in PA doing the same. then changed direction again and spent 2 years doing fellowships in Forensic pathology. AS I have learned it is a very political job as well as interesting. Never what tomorrow will bring. Airplane crashes to drug dealers clearing out the competition or enforcing payment. me employed. Big benefit is I am immune to speeding tickets for the most part. My worst day was 4 waived. Our only daughter is recovering from Hodgin's lymphoma chemotherapy. She's doing well and hopes to marry next year. She's planning to be a pediatrician like mom. Son in law is a Cornell Vet.(former classmates). We live in North Central NY near Syracuse and are 2 miles from exit 39 of NY I-90 toll road. I have my own workshop for fun and flower garden in spring and summer. Adirondack Park is nearby as is St. Lawrence river and Thousand Islands. Nice recreational area. I donot get to Indiana due to work including Court conflicts.(no excuses) My mother lives next to Jim Crow in Lancaster township with Randy Harnish across the section.
