Samuel's Story
Life
My wife Terry and I live in South Gate, sharing our home with two dogs, two cats and (off and on) our two sons, Anthony and Andrew (from Terry's first marriage). I work for Whites Funeral Home in Bellflower, where I assist families who wish to make advance plans; I also handle aftercare for families who have lost a loved one. My wife is an office manager for a construction company. My sons are in college- Anthony at Fullerton JC for Law Enforcement, Andrew at Rio Hondo for Fire Science.
My wife and I attend Bellflower Brethren Church, where we both work with the high school kids' group, which we both tremendously enjoy- the kids keep US young. There's always a beach party or other activity, and we've been privileged to...Expand for more
join the kids on a mission trip to Mexico and two national Youth conferences. I'm also involved with our convalescent hospital visitation program and the Sound system. Terry is active in a few different things that minister to hurting people. She also has been known to sing in church worship teams and musical productions- she's got a beautiful voice. (As the world's only Italian who can't sing, I accomplished the next best thing- I married someone who can.) She's also currently attending Biola University where she's working toward a Psychology degree.
Life for us has had its ups and downs, but there's been way more up than down.I'd love to hear from any of my fellow Gladiators about how things turned out for you.
