Sandi's Story
Life
I have been in the special events field since the early 70s and in 2004 took over the management of San Diego's ArtWalk in Little Italy. Our team went on to create three additional art festivals including ArtWalk Liberty Station, ArtWalk Carlsbad and Bella Vita Fest. In January 24 I transitioned out of my position with ArtWalk, but continue to consult for art/events/entertainment companies.
In 2007 my sister and I founded ArtReach, a nonprofit that takes art education into...Expand for more
schools throughout the county focusing on Title One schools that have no resources for art. The organization works with over 10,000 students each year. ArtReach's mural program works with schools to conceptualize and create amazing murals that fill the walls of schools and other facilities throughout the county. Some of the recent murals are close to Crawford.
I haven't kept in touch with Crawford friends but I really appreciate it when someone sends a note on this platform.
