Sandi's Story
Hello from the tiny girl in the Class of S'68....
I am 4'8", 85 lbs and I paint almost anything and everything I can get my hands on...clothing, purses, rocks, faces and canvas. After a lifetime as a hair stylist - cosmetologist, retail store manager and brewmaster at a fancy coffee house, I am now a food server and performer at a tourist attraction in AZ. I used to write occasional articles for the Ventura Star Newspapers. I mentored special needs children and provided Marine Unit support in my spare...Expand for more
time. My dream marriage to my favorite Marine, John Miranda, ended with his passing on Nov. 11th, 2005. I have one son, Danny (34) and a Diva dog named Dingo.
These days, on off time, I play a variety of computer games and I continue to write short stories and, in season, I continue to do Toys 4 Tots in "Sgt. John's" memory.
Alas, like all of us, I am old enuff to know better, but young enuff to get away with it! I am an oldie but a goodie, still dancing to avoid getting old! To dance is to live!
