Sandi's Story
Started Fontana High school in 1954. Went steady with Gary Thompson, and later Phil Helsius. The girls I ran around with Jerry Bodner, Kay Rhymes, Judy Ross, Helen Quinn, Donna Helsius, Zelda Kerns, (Buddy-->) Kenny Thorson and Carlos Alvarez).I belonged to Theda Ro Girls and Rainbow Girls clubs. I remember the car clubs, The Royals, but forget their competitors names. One of the teachers I remember was a Mr. Anthony Bernard. And of course OLE MS. brand new 55 or 56 RED Thunderbird. WE had sock hops, hand made the ribbons and wrote on them on who's team FONTAN was going to beat that night. I rode my own Harley for 20 years. Life has been good to me thru the years. Have had a career, now retired, married, raised five kids, I am an artist and work in different mediums. See my work at Webshots/SandiM711.
