Sandie's Story
Life
I have been retired since 2011 and love every minute! I had been a Physician Assistant for 29 years, 22 years with the Mass General Hospital and now with the VA hospital in West Roxbury MA. I am the Acting Coordinator of the 3 Occupational Health units at the 3 Hospitals in the VA Boston system, West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain and Brockton VAs. Before that I was a Lab Technologist with the MGH and Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. I joined MGH as a Blood Bank tech upon ending my term in the US Army in 1968.f
I enjoy riding motorcycle and traveling in our Motorhome. I enjoy photography some of whch I sell I also enjoy competing with other photographers.
I live West of Boston and in a bedroom community but do miss Swampscott. Each time I go back I miss my childhood and all my relatives and friends who have passed away ...Expand for more
so do not go often. I do however have a sister in law in Marblehead so do go there for holidays etc.
My partner and I enjoy traveling in the Motorhome when and where we choose.
To answer the questions asked "What about you would surprise everyone at high school reunion- That I am alive and have gotten a Masters Degree in two fields.. I was not a great student in High School but afterward, I loved getting college degrees.
"Which Teacher would you love to see again and why?" Ms White the English teacher or the Math teacher just cause.
"What is my biggest suprise in life?" That I did not have children but a wonderful relationship which has lasted a very long time.
"If given a do over what would change?" I would be more studious in school and be a better listener.
Well there you have it, honest answers to hard questions.
