Sandie's Story
I always wanted to be a artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.as most of you know i was always grounded when i was a kid, i even had a portfolio at age 12 i got grounded for MONTHS so i had a lot of time to draw! my mom said i dont know why your doing that youll never make any money at it! whell now i know that they(my parents) ment it for evil but my GOD ment it for good thank you jesus. In 1980's i had a company refinishing kitchen cabinets and to pay the rent on my studio i worked for denis sheridan he was also in to restoration but he didnt touch anything made after 1940.an would refer the newer stuff to me .at his company we also did campbell soup's desks and credensa tables ect...it was denis who suggested that i go to Day studio in mahattan in 1988 i study faux finishes with Joann Day
see Daystudio web site and now for 20 ye...Expand for more
