Sandie's Story
Life
I currently live in Washington State. We moved here in 1996. My husband and I have been married almost 25 years and are very happy. He is a Senior Pastor at a non-denominational Christian church. Those of you who knew me well in high school, please don't faint. We have a 36 foot boat that sleeps seven (nine if you count our two miniature schnauzers). I am retired so during the summer months we spend most of our time on our boat in the Puget Sound checking out all of the islands, crabbing and enjoying friends and family. My oldest daughter, Angela, age 38, still lives in CA and has given me the two cutest grandsons ever, Matthew who was five in November of 2006 and Seven who turned one in June of 2006. My youngest daughter, Jenifer, age 28, lives here in WA close to...Expand for more
us and lives to snowboard. Life is very good, I wouldn't change it. If you're ever in WA, look us up.
Workplace
I was a secretary for almost 24 years. Part of those years were spent as a legal secretary working for a criminal defense attorney in Tucson, Arizona. After we moved to Washington State in 1996, I was my husband's secretary for 2 years (what a challenge). Then I taught reading to first through fifth graders who struggled with their reading skills. I did that for almost 7 years. I really loved the teaching but in of May of 2005 I retired. I wasn't going to retire until the end of the school year but I left early to be with my oldest daughter, Angela, as she gave birth to her second son. Now, I am trying to relax and get used to being a domestic diva.
