School K-4 Washington School, Modesto,CA 5-Julien School, Turlock, CA 6-8, Brown Junior High, Turlock,CA 9-12, Turlock High School, Turlock,CA College I got accepted by other colleges, but my father passed away and I needed to be by my mother's side. I went to Stanislaus as a convience and it turned out to be a wonderful place. My friends told me to get involved with the campus. Well, I did. I was extremely young and I took their advice. I tried out for cheerleading, and I wrote for the campus paper. I had a column called Sing Along with Sandie. It was dorky and sorta like your Herb Caen column in the 70's. I had fun. The professors in the art department: Camarata, Piskoti,etc. were great. I almost blew up the new sculpture department when my torch dropped. Thank God, Garner Tullis was around!
