Sandra's Story
Following high school I attended a business college in San Jose near San Jose State University and graduated and began my career in the business world.
I worked several years in the secular world then found my calling in the Christian working world by working in a church office. I have been in the Christian working environment since 1980 and love it.
My last job was for Gilroy Presbyterian Church in Gilroy, CA, as their office administrator. I worked for them from 2002 to November 2013. With some changes in the church I decided to retire and sell my condo then my little dog and I loaded up our car and left California ...Expand for more
on Sunday, November 24th and headed for East Texas arriving just in time to spend Thanksgiving with great friends.
I lived in a small town called Lindale, Texas. It is just north of Tyler, TX for 5 years. I retired from working full time and enjoying that very much. I liked it there with the slower pace but missed my family and friends. So have I moved back to California in November 2018. I am living in a 55+ community in Atwater, CA. It's about an hour north of Fresno. I chose this place because it's pretty central to my brothers and sisters and near friends in San Jose and Morgan Hill I had prior to moving to Texas.
