Sandra's Story
Hello ALL, (maybe read last paragraph first)
Things have been wonderful for me in the years since Carlisle. I returned to my hometown of Portland, Oregon. I attended the U of Oregon (GO DUCKS) and finished my education at Portland State University in Education. I have taught for 44 years -- 30 to retirement and 14 of substituting. I now test for our TAG ( Talented and Gifted) program and LOVE it. (Things surely have changed since 1971!!!)
I married the love of my life in 1971 and are still married...WHAT???......44 years? It can't be! Bob is fun, funny, and enjoys life. He is a Third-party Safety Inspector and part-time retired great guy...Expand for more
. He keeps me laughing all the time.
We had one daughter who is married to one great guy, Todd (6' 4") They have two sons, Caden, 5, and Crosby, 3. They live in Dallas, Texas, so we are often out of town. Michelle (6 ft. tall) works for Smith and Nephew, a medical device manufacturer and she sells wound care products. She loves to be working in surgery.
Boy, I really feel like this is TMI...... SO, maybe start here and skip the rest.. I loved my years in Carlisle and being a traveling Army BRAT. LIfe has had its ups and downs but many more ups... I HOPE THE SAME FOR YOU!
